About Me
I qualified as a Holistic Therapist in 2000 and have trained in many different disciplines throughout my massage career, some of which you can read more about below.
I have worked within the NHS providing massage to people with physical and learning disabilities. I am very passionate about my work and truly believe that to expand we should move in a never-ending circle of knowledge. I am of the opinion you can never stop learning and I never have.
In 2009 due to standard massage techniques, I developed RSI and thought I would have to give up my business. It was at this juncture I heard of NO HANDS® Massage a zero-strain approach developed over 20 years by Gerry Pyves in the UK. By using soft fronts and weight of the Practitioners body i.e. forearms etc. rather than elbows or hands to give this wonderful Deep or Light Powerful massage, which is very person centred to clients needs.
This new safe touch is not only powerful for me to give but amazing for clients to receive. This new touch ultimately saved my practice. I decided to advance my knowledge by joining NO HANDS® Mastery program and in 2015 I became a registered Instructor. I hold small intimate friendly courses and am based in Essex.
I was lucky enough to be trained in Florida by Nathalie Cecilia, who developed an amazing approach to massage using different shaped warm bamboo sticks to help dissolve knots and tension throughout the body.
I offer Warm Bamboo Massage, NO HANDS® Massage, Aromatherapy, Rahanni Celestial Healing, Bowen and Emmett Techniques.
